The best thing about having DirecTV is ... being able to watch the same movies over and over. If you miss part of a movie, you can be sure it'll be repeated in just a few hours on another channel.
Friday night, Under Siege 2: Dark Territory was broadcast at least two or three times. No gym, no movies, no clubbing ... just a bowl of popcorn, melted butter and Morris Chestnut.
Not personally. We wish, right? Skin like Godiva-chocolate, flawless 1000-watt Colgate smile, Bally's total workout physique and a me-so-horny barritone. We've loved him since Boyz N the Hood and the short-lived Out All Night. What's there not to like? Okay, he's no Lee Strasberg method actor. Sure, Morris does have an NAACP Image Award, but will probably never will be on stage at the Kodak Theatre, thanking the members of the academy. His suave, Buppie professionals of The Best Man, The Brothers, Two Can Play That Game and Breakin' All the Rules morph into the same character. But do we care? Hell to the No.
Actually, we prefer Morris as a bad boy, out of his usual typecasting. (But then, when don't we like bad boys?) Tonight—after Under Siege 2, which just came on Starz again—we may watch Half Past Dead. Definitely not Morris' best—that would probably be Two Can Play That Game, Boyz N the Hood or The Brothers—but he turns in a surprisingly strong role as a supporting character in an action movie.
Back to Channel 521. Guess what's on StarzW right now?

Once upon a time wasn't there some contract stating that all black buppie films HAD to have Morris in them! LOL. He is quite phyne tho (and you're right sexy as hell when 'bad')

The sad thing is I STILL confuse Morris and Omar Epps. At least I know Mekhi Pfifer is the one on ER, lol.

Rashid..Omar Epps WAS on ER during the 1996-1997 season as Dr. Gant, I believe. he was always clashing with Dr. Benton (Eriq LaSalle). He eventually caved under the pressure and threw himself in front of a moving L train...ouch.
Now, Omar is on FOX'S HOUSE as what..another doctor. But, you should check out House (i think it's reruns are shown on Tuesdays...)
