Best Oscar Moment Ever
The Academy Awards are all about brilliant imagery and great moments. Lily Tomlin and Meryl Streep's introduction of Robert Altman—absolutely superb, no? However, the best moment of the evening was not found in the Kodak Theater. You had to watch E! and go "Live on the Red Carpet" at their faux E! Oscar party.
First looking oh-so-delish at the Red Party and now on the Red Carpet: Rod 2.0 obsession Tyson Beckford strips down to his tighties for charity. The full strip show below.
The very straight Ryan Seachrest asks Tyson, "So, how big are you?"
Actually, no. Tyson is auctioning his black Gucci shirt for the ClothesOffOurBacks and the proceeds benefit humanitarian causes.
Hmm. Love those lips.
Before you get too excited thinking that baby daddy Tyson wears tighty whiteys, it's not so. They're just very tight boxer briefs. Here ya go:
Right at this point, E! unexpectedly cut from the strip-a-thon. The jeans weren't part of the charity auction so you have to love this man for giving us a show. It's almost as good as last month's appearance at the Red Party.

Oh, Rod.
I didn't even catch this. We owe you!

Tyson is looking like a "member" in that second picture on the left where he's clapping...I'm always looking for signs of hope...*love you tyson*

I watched it live and couldn't believe E!'s standards&practices allowed as much as they did...though too funny when E!'s control abruptly cut-away when things became too hot : )

Rod,
Like you, put my fav color 'red' along with Tyson on the 'carpet', as he smiles right out of his shirt to his skivvy, and I can only
say: "Encore, encore, encore!"
You give us an 'after party', with
behind the scenes view that Oprah and friend Gail can't touch!
Oh! That 'Oscar' be modeled after
Tyson, now, that would be an award
to take home!
Rod, you get the first "TYSON" for
the Academy Awards correspondent un-covering what Tyson was NOT wearing on the red carpet!
Next year's Best Film fantasy:
You and Tyson in a skivvies sequel getting down to your own 'square' leg shorts and then some........[without the sidekick chicks!]
I'd like to join you on the carpet for that one!

...thought i was the only one who saw that...mr. beckford in his white boxer-briefs. i had to get on my celly and use all kinds of sprint minutes on that one. apparently he's gone from 185 - 205 lbs for a movie, and it looks like it's ALL muscle too.

Great way to start my day!

I'd love to have Tyson's shirt also his underwear especially if they haven't been washed. YUM

...I can only imagine how jealous Ryan Seacrest was to be on the viewing end of a Tyson strip, secretly wanting to be actively rippin' the clothes off the hunk.

With or without clothing, it's always a treat seeing Tyson. After meeting him several times, I found him to be just as warm, and sweet, as he is handsome.

Let's face it: Without exaggeration, Tyson Beckford is the most physically perfect human being on the face of the earth. If Michelangelo were alive today, Tyson would be the model for his David. But what is truly remarkable about this man is his beautiful heart and soul. It sounds sappy, but honestly, I wept with him when he was on Oprah and talked about his tragic accident and how modeling again never entered his mind, only the thought his son, fatherless, concerned him. His openness to new experiences, his visit to a gay strip club was a Stonewall moment for black male celebrities. Tyson Beckford is truly a renaissance man.
