Just in case you haven't had enough of the sweaty torso or bootyshaking captures found in Jarhead's recent DVD release ... just a few more to add to your collection. We were about halfway through the movie before we realized why Laz Alonso's body face and captivating accent were so familiar: He's the former BET host and announcer and star of Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood. Probably our longtime BET producer friend knows him.
As Escobar, he's seen throughout the film, but, not too many opportunities in the buff. This is from the scorpion fight ("Always bet on black, baby!") sequence in the desert.
He's got one or two other buff scenes, but, this is probably one of the best—but definitely not the most homoerotic. Andy would probably agree that honor goes to his (clothed) scene with Jake Gyllenhaal where the two Marines pretended to umm, "perform a sex act" on each other. The action's kinda fast but we'll try to grab some caps.

I really enjoyed seeing Laz on BET as well. I taped the episodes and have a greatest hits collection somewhere.
He was also on the pilot of Cuts but that was the only episode he was in. He had his shirt off there for some reason.
