Out essays Kanye West's "queer problem", the subject of ripe discussion in comments here and elsewhere. Writer Eric Gutierrrez agrees with much of our assessment by observing that it's unfair to call "for a queer loyalty oath from Kanye." Here's more: "The uncertainty Kanye admitted to is not that different from the ambivalence and confusion most of us experience over our own sexuality at some point. Most of us didn’t instantly go from zero to 60 in understanding or accepting ourselves as gay. How can we expect others to get up to our speed in a flash?"
Believe it or not, there is a gay-supportive article on EUR that does not focus on the down low. The black entertainment portal reviews Words to Our Now: Imagination and Dissent by Thomas Glave, assistant professor of English at SUNY Binghamton. "There is something truly touching and deeply saddening about a book which has to make a case for the embracing of black homosexuals by their own community, when acceptance has been the prevailing theme around which the rest of African-Americana has rallied for generations." Good call, guys.

Kayne West probably has another album coming out and wants to make sure he talks to the Gay consumers.
