Last night's epsiode of Law & Order: SVU was interesting from two—no, make that three—perspectives.
First: Natalie Cole guest starred as a defense attorney. We're lovin' the fact that lately the Grammy Award-winning singer is all over the map. Not long ago, in March, Natalie guested on Grey's Anatomy. Second: Anthony Anderson also guested on the SVU episode as an over-aggressive detective. It was a welcome change to see him in a dramatic role as opposed to his usual hyper-comedy. He wasn't bad. Finally: Last night was extremely topical. The episode was entitled "Fat" and concerned teenage obesity and out-of-control bullying. Just today, the nation's top soft drink companies agreed to halt almost all soda sales in elementary and middle schools. (Thanks Kevin!)

Uh, Anthony Anderson spent several seasons on "The Shield" as one of the vilest, nastiest, brutal drug kingpins. Yes, seeing him last night was nice, but he has a solid two and a half seasons on "The Shield" that more than offsets some of the minstrel roles he's played in the movies.

I enjoyed watching Natalie...she was great...I didn't know she has a little acting chops.

You should have seen her on GRAY'S ANATOMY or in LILY IN WINTER or FREAK CITY. She's really a solid actress. It's a wonderful thang. I'm lovin' on Natalie whilst I have the chance!

Damn! Damn! I miss Natalie LAST NIGHT! Maybe it might repeat on the USA Network soon.
And yes, Anthony Anderson wore it out on The Shield. I really felt he needed an Emmy nod for that role.

Saw it ...
And was a little disappointed her role was so small, far out-shadowed by Anthony Anderson's angry cop portrayal, which I enjoyed immensely.
SVU & CI are the best shows on television, hands down.

Yeah Taylor. I definitely hated that her role was so small, especially since I could tell by the editing that it was supposed to be larger. BUT SHE WAS DYNAMIC ON GRAY'S ANATOMY and says she's got some major things in the works, including features.
YAY FOR NATALAY!
LOL!
SVU IS MY FAVORITE TOO!

I Think ya'll should really be talking about Omar Epps on House the other night. He was AMAZING!! The guy had me believing he had a virus forreal. That was probably one of the best acting I've seen from him in a long time.
