Chris Brown: Live at the Roxy!
Well, not quite. The teen heart throb was live at Rockefeller Plaza on Today—which is why we're off to a late start, having covered the event for Access Hollywood. CB is such a good performer and a lil cutie. Even though it was heavily promoted, the morning's concert had all the trappings of a "surprise" Janet or Madonna-style appearance at Roxy.
Here are a few pictures. It's so refrshing to see a young R&B performer who is friendly and positive.
1. Super dramatic entrance. Pulling up to the bumper in a big black limousine. Chris sang acapella for about 30 seconds. Very nice.
2. "Give me drama." Chris looked wonderful in this bright canary yellow dress shirt. Definitely shows his confidence. But why didn't he wear this on TRL the other day? Matched his hat.
3. Let's hear it for the boys. We've only seen him perform once or twice, always solo, but these boys are good to go.
4. "The Chris Brown." What do you call this dance? Eh. Who knows, it's great.
By the way, Chris' motto is: "Be yourself." Perfect.
By the way, Chris Brown has the cutest website. It even features a back-to-school theme. Aww.

There is just somethin' about him I can't get enough of. The humble bravado, charismatic goofiness and charm just makes me think that the future of R&B is in good hands with this one...

Midnight Lounge...you said a mouthful. I knew it when I first saw him that he was something special. Not like a lot of other young performers. This kid has definetly been raise right. I had a vision when he accepted his BET award on the last show. How cool would that be if he had gay parents, two dads and he thank the hell out of them. Just my imagination going on and on.
Oh yeah, and yes....come 25 - 30 WATCH OUT!!!!
