Open the August issue of Vibe for a nice surprise. New York-based model Daniel is featured in a full-page advert for Pepe. It's just a little ... odd? ... seeing him here with a woman. Up until now, most of his work—such as for photographer Kurt Brown, Clik, Baby Boy etc—has been unabashedly homoerotic. Not saying that he doesn't pull it off—he does, the ad is fab, even though the girl comes across as a mere accessory. But it's good to see him taking that next step, and, the advertisers appreciating his crossover appeal.

Oh God ...
this boy does unspeakable things to me, please allow me to one day reciprocate.
Thank you ...
