Confirmed: Michael is "Straight!"

Breaking News: Project Runway's Michael Knight comes out of the closet—on BravoTV.com, no less—to announce that he is very single and very, very straight. Like other very heterosexual celebs such as Vin Diesel, Michael is outraged that people would think otherwise:
The hood side of me wants to say, "Why—are you trying to screw me, is that why you're asking?" But that's what I want to say. But, yes I am straight and no, I am not dating anybody.
Confirmation of his heterosexuality: He doesn't read blogs. But, "my friends are telling me that I have some fans that want a piece of me!"
Oh, Michael, such a tease. Did you notice that he managed to work in "screw me" and "piece of me"? Not that we had any other reason to assume otherwise, but it's perfect believable that Michael is just as straight as most other guys. Oh well. Carry. On.

Michael, Michael, Michael, people ask because you have expressions that are more prevelant in the gay community than the non-gay one. Get it?... I guess you don't.

OK Right, he's straight. Um hunh.
Posted by: James | 16 August 2006 at 08:19
I'm straight, too, Rod. And I have no interest in deep kissing Michael, licking him up and down, and thrusting my manhood into his firm brown backside.

It's so stupid that people want to make him gay still, especially at first since he's on the show as a designer...

too funny! while i don't find him at all attracvive, all i have to say is michael, don't protest it too much, if, you are secuire in your "manhood' you would have ignored the gossip and innuendo! but, carry on, you do design those clothes like willi did, and he was fierce, so, the gay label can be a compliment!

Who’s that Aiken guy on American Idol? Why does this remind me of him?

Yeah, well if he's not then I'm just gonna go back to my little villa on Denial Road between Ice Cream St. and Lollypop Lane.

okay michael is straight. but, michael all i have to say is this:
OOOOOH, HOW YOU DOIN???
why even answer the rumors if he's secure with who he is? to me, non confirmation is a clear sign that you a) dont give a shit about what others think of you; b) are fine with who you are and what yo uprefer; c) aren't phased by the gossip and innuendo.
so i say once again, MICHAEL...OOOOOOOH1 HOW YOU DOIN?
and PUT THAT THANG WHERE...BACK THERE! :) (c) Wendy Williams--both catch phrases
good stuff rod, on point as usual.

I am very intrigued to say the least by this breaking news....Michael was the person who pulled me into Project Runway for obvious reasons BUT he said he wasn't GAY, he ain't said nuthin' bout BI, or CURIOUS...LOL...I'ma keep hope alive though becuz I go 2 skool in the ATL and I want those lips.....
I'll keep rooting for him because his designs ARE flawless...
I consider myself straight too....is it because I've never done nething w/ a dude!?!...think about it.

I would assume that he was gay or at the very least not 100% down with the females. I don't see how this is an issue and it makes me wonder why he mentioned it anyway it must have something to do with his family because no one else gives a damn because he is soooo talented!

it's ATL...of course he's VERY! STRAIGHT!

Aaah. Michael. Me & my girls HAVE been debating this issue. He's so damn CUTE!! And when he said "Pam mutha fuckn Greer..." that's when i knew he wasn't gay. single 2? Holla at me :) Perhaps he grew up around a lotta women. Did any 1 notice how everything was well with him after he talked to his mama? After that he won the challenge. Either way I'm rooting for the brotha. I wouldn't mind getting next to that fine choco latte Yeah i said choco latte... whew!

Well, I really don't care what he is, but he has about the most stereotypically "queenie" profession a man can have, and that's comin' from a real...well, pro-queen homo (I'm to tired and aged to be a fabulous "queen" now).

Who. Cares.
I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
Posted by: Jonathon | 17 August 2006 at 13:50
he is not GAY? what?
Posted by: Alexsander | 17 August 2006 at 17:08
AfterElton.com had a good argument about the need of gays to identify people who aren't gay as gay. The basic point of AE.com's article was that gay people need to get a life and stop projecting their desires onto other people.
In someways, I think this is like black people who object to mixed-race people who don't identify as black because they see the One Drop Rule as ridiculous crap. Why is it anyone else's business and why would you want someone in your group who doesn't want to be in it?
