On the Hill: Gay Marriage "Most Important Issue", GOP Rep. Emails 16 YO Boy, HIV Funding

· A failed Iraq policy. Thousands of American servicemen killed or injured. The economy floundering. However, Rep. Marilyn Musgrave (R-CO), the lead sponsor of the proposed constitutional ban on gay marriage in the House, says the “future is grim” if gay marriage is not banned because it "is the most important issue that we face today.”

· GOP congressman caught sending emails to 16 year old page. Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL) asks the young man how old he is, what he wants for his birthday and requests a "pic." Teen reports emails as "sick, sick, sick, sick, sick."

Foley also refers to another young'n as "having a nice body." Apparently, Foley's sexuality has been open secret on the Hill for more than a decade, even calling a press conference to admit that he wouldn't answer questions. Good column from Wayne Besen on the "stealthy Republican's sexuality." By the way, Foley is the co-chair of the House Missing and Exploited Children Caucus?

· House passes controversial AIDS funding: 325-98 vote to amend the $2.1 billion Ryan White CARE Act to shift more money to rural areas and the South.

· Democratic National Committee chair Howard Dean will speak at the 5th annual Baltimore Black Pride in October.

Did he know the boy was 16? If not, there is no reason why there should be so much fuss over this. If he was online with a man he believed to be 18yrs old or over that is his business.

hello Jesus loves everyone heart and soul-as they are-but too much to leave us in sin

what part of the Bible doesnt make sense-we dont make our own rules -
truely Jesus forgives and changes people from our bad choices-Romans 1 -"Professing themselves to be wise they became fools, and were unthankful and worshiped the created rather than the creator,and were turned over to a reprobate minds to abuse themselves man with man and woman with woman. yet 1st Corinthians 9:6-13 states "Effemine and such WERE some of you but you have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus."
the pro sodomy agenda-is rediculous-they state we are born gay-yet the attack a person that choses to be in sodomy and gets into -the goverment, the church,etc.
and also attack the people who say its not right-exploiting their own-and attacking everyone involved-to advance their cause-

Strange those that fall to the same sin as themselves should not be attacked by those in th sin! you judge them for doing what you do!
On the other hand Jesus unconditionally loves us as we are, and forgives and gives the power to change back to righteousness and do right-Im saved by Jesus amazing grace that saved a wretch like me-as Jew Jesus is my savior and best friend now-once he was a cuss word to me-and sin was my life.
