The NYPD is investigating the vicious beating of a black Brooklyn man who was assaulted by a group of whites. According to the New York Post, the 28-year-old black man was attacked last night in the parking lot of Brooklyn's Plumb Beach off Jamaica Bay.
Detectives say he was beaten, chased into traffic, hit by a car ... and then dragged off the road, only to be pummeled again. "Plumb Beach is known as a gay cruising spot and detectives were trying to determine if either race or sexual orientation was the motive for the attack, the sources said."
Police say the victim was found unconscious and rushed to hospital. Ironically, that Belt Parkway crime scene is only minutes away from the Howard Beach location where three bat-wielding white men chased and beat three black men in 1986. One of the victims was killed when he ran onto the Parkway and was run down by a passing motorist.
