Maxine Waters Says It
"Men have sex with men, period. Black gay men and men who have sex with men are more at risk for HIV. We don't want to talk about it and our churches don't want to talk about it, we have to address what is going on."
I'll try to post video later or the transcript. BTW, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has also sponsored legislation that would require condoms in federal prisons and insurance companies to pay for routine HIV testing.
She said a lot of truths today confronted parts of the community that needed it. She also did a good job reminding everyone that the"DL" is not just about black men. I guess we have to ask Rev. Haggard's wife. TJ Holmes was also looking fyne today. have a good weekend Rod- Happy world aids day

I have said this a number of times... I don't understand how people feel condoms promote sex.

Actually, the bill was introduced by Rep. Barbara Lee HR 6083 is the bill number. Check it out http://thomas.loc.gov

She is very active on AIDS issues. I also didn't know that she lost a sister.

Throughout time, I feel that Rep. Maxine Waters, has been on the forefront of SGL issues, allowing and giving her support, to our struggles and issues.
