· After being courted by several of the top soccer teams in Europe, United States National Team defender Oguchi Onyewu is transferring to France. New reports say the 24 year old, 6-foot-4, 210 pound Washington DC-native has been signed by the powerhouse Olympique Marseille. Onyewu was recently voted Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Soccer Federation.

· Britain's Channel 4 will dedicate a week of its programming to gay issues for teens. One program on the schedule includes "Black Gay Men", a documentary by comedian Stephen K. Amos that explores homophobia in black Britain and Jamaica, "why the prejudice, violence and intimidation still exists, and how attitudes might be changed for the benefit of the next generation of young black gay men."
