R&B Singer Tyrese Will Ban ALL MEN From His "Shirts Off" Concert

Has-been singers/actors Tyrese Gibson, Ginuwine and Tank—better known for their physiques and current domestic violence problems than any chart-topping—will introduce sweeping new rules during the upcoming "Shirts Off" tour. "We're putting a ban on all dudes from coming to the show," Tyrese reportedly said.

The announcement comes after a previously reported incident, where Gibson "threw his shirt into the audience and a gay fan caught it. [He] then stopped the concert and said 'Naw, dawg, that was for the ladies.' " That incident has spurred some type of obsession; by banning the men, Tyrese and his crew apparently hope to restrict any lustful glances from gay male fans.

The "no boys allowed" rule is a curious career trajectory from the likes of Tyrese and Ginuwine—the former shot to fame as a Guess model and shirtless music video personality, the latter was popularized by photo-shoots that documented his abs and tight Gianni Versace boxer briefs "These aren’t country bumpkins who have never been around a gay person in their lives," notes pop culture blogger LT Diniwiddie. "They’re industry boys. They are surrounded by more gay people then any non industry person could ever be."
