Much deserved Rod, congrats!

Cadence

Congratulations Rod. Everyone here knows that you are the best.

By the way, Candis has a regular part on the very good "Dirty Sexy Money", which is on ABC.

Papi Chulo

Congratulations Rod! You absolutely deserve the praise. Just a little FYI Candis Cayne is not on "30 Rock" ... She's a recurring cast member on "Dirty Sexy Money". In an interview with "HOMO Xtra" ... Candis said that her DSM role is the first time that a trans actress has played a recurring trans character on television.

Rod McCullom

Thanks for the corrects on Candis. You'd think I'd know better, having the magazine right in front of me. Duh.

Thanks.

RevKev, you took the words right out of my mouth. It's wonderful to see Rod getting some much shine and recognition, he is a great role model. It's just brilliant that we have black gay men who are doing it from Radar to the Huffington Post to The Advocate.

By the way, this is Greg, Rod, I spoke to you at the Cosi sandwich in Union Square. Keep it up!

ca

You go boy!

derrick

Rod, this is wonderful. You are doing very good things. I can see why the Radar crew appreciates your work. Congratulationsd.

carl

You deserve it, Rod. Your site and writing is just incredible. So when are you going to be in the picture with Kathy Griffin?

Preach on, REV KEV!

A. Ronald

Love it, love it! keep it up!

Andy in Seattle

Congrats on the recognition and deserved exposure, but... well, you deserve BETTER EXPOSURE. What hack did they hire to cram you all uncomfortably in a phone booth (with you and Angel hardly visible), which is about as far from cutting-edge information technology as one can get? Were they going for some sort of street-cred thang? Sheesh...

But keep up the good work, and we all can hope you get a proper shoot next time.

Alan T

Hey Rod, I would ask why aren't you up in the front but obviously you are much taller than the others! That's so appropriate because Rod 2.0 is head and shoulders above the pact!

ATL Kid

Andy, thanks for being the first to say it! Cute idea but there is too much going on. Rod can barely squeeze his shoulders in there and Angel is hidden. But love the recognition, love it. The Advocate, The Huffington Post, Clik and Radar all in the same week!

You're like Perez Hilton, butch queen of all media! LOL

Angel

Congrats Rod! See you at the party.

nOva

I can dig it. But am I the only one that thinks Jam Donaldson shouldn't be there?

Robert Anderssen

Rod, this is wonderful. I just discovered your writing from Huffington Post and am truly happy to see black writers and bloggers recognized.

SABC

I am so happy to this feature. RADAR is everything that is hip, edgy and now, and its FABULOUS they included straight black hip hop bloggers and our top gay black pop culture and politics critic. Who says we can't get along?

david c

Rod, this is outstanding. Congratulations.

The Rev. Kevin Taylor makes some excellent points. You're very much a man of the moment. I was just discussing your work with my BF. He was reading your piece in the current issue of The Advocate and mentioned that he now sees you on the Huffington Post and your writing "is razor sharp." The Advocate, Huff Po, Radar, its a trifecta!

A thousand congratulations on the feature in Radar and being included in their year end issue. I'm surprised that you didn't make the Out 100, but maybe that's because you write for the company. Maybe next year.

You are doing fabulous work and are very modest. I know this is something you don't discuss, but you truly don't get the recognition you deserve from some of the many of the black gay bloggers. That's too bad because you always mention everyone else. However, it's wonderful that you and Keith Boykin support each others work. He is an icon. And you will be the next one.

tyler gray

Congratulations, Rod.
You are beautiful on the inside and out.

I love RADAR, probably because they have copied the old SPY format. You're a perfect fit for their mix of pop culture, politics and sarcasm.

David and Rev. Taylor are right about recognition. BUT YOU DO YOU!

Dean Green

Congratulatons, Rod. I read and enjoy your articles regularly.

firefly

Congratulations, baby boy. You are doing great things and very positive!

It's amazing to see a gay black man with a strong voice on everything from pop culture to elections. I don't always agree with your politics, but you're very persuasive. You have been on fire at HuffPo, keep it up but keep it real!

norman loves ya

You'd better work!
