Bad news for those of you hoping to see new streaming videos or XXX photoshoots starring twin brothers Keyontyli and Taleon Goffney, who performed as Keyon and Teyon at popular black gay porn sites such as Blackmen.net, EbonyD and Flavaworks. The twins are behind bars in connection with a robbery from an ATM in a Philadelphia business and authorities suspect the brothers in dozens of similar cases across the Tri-State.
According to Philadelphia's CBS3 (video), detectives said the 26-year-old suspects "broke into the store by crashing through the roof" and allegedly stole about $2,000 from the machine. "Officers arrested Keyontyli at the scene, but, his brother Taleon escaped" and was later tracked to a nearby parking garage. Authorities say the dynamic duo "is suspected in as many as 50 similar burglaries in the tri-state area."
Taleon's case becomes more even complicated: Bail has been revoked because he already "pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and criminal mischief" for escaping from a moving police cruiser after "breaking a window by hitting it with his head. He had been arrested on drug and weapons charges." Prosecutors in South Jersey and Philadelphia will file a laundry list of charges against Taleon and it doesn't appear as if he'll be returning to VOD in the near future.
The abtastic and ripped siblings became popular after starring in a series of streaming videos with Marc Williams—if you can't tell them apart, Taleon has the distinctive calligraphy on his forearm—and Keyontyli gained some success as a mainstream model in at least one national underwear campaign and is featured in the latest CLIK. We've met the twins once or twice and they "seemed like really nice guys." Didn't have any idea they were troubled. Too bad.
"Keyon made his start into porn with us back in 2002," says Phillip Bleicher at Flavaworks. "He was one of the sweetest models we had ever worked with. We last saw him at New York City Pride in June 2007 and he again was friendly and caring. It's too sad."
Apparently, 'tis the season for troubled gay porn stars to reinvent themselves as felons.

They were branded the day they were named Taleon and Keyontyli. I'm just sayin'.

It is a terrible state of affairs and a disturbing commentary on the state of our police department if in fact 50 such crimes were committed before they were caught. Each of these crimes cost honest people at the register while these bums live high on the hog at our expense.
They have hurt many people economically if they committed these crimes.
I am personally tired of being a victim. If convicted I hope they are in jail long enough so that the are to old to ever commit a crime again. They seem to want the easy route rather then working for an honest living, they steal from you and I. Lets give it to them, 3 square meal and a set of bars.

Philip Bleicher had the audacity to post here? It's almost like a serial killer returning to the scene of a murder to get off on his handiwork.

Alright, back off the Goffney boys.!
Let's not jump to conclusions here. They haven't been "convicted" of 50 robberies.
Okay, they were caught once -- but in those areas there are any number of individuals going criminals acts. For all we know, these cops just want to clear up 50 cases in one full swoop.
Let's not hang our boys out to dry.
And on another note: Does anyone else find this whole thing extremely seXy? Okay, maybe I'm warped, but come on
... gay porn actor/model twins martial artists
.... ones way gangsta (busting a squad-car window with his forehead and proceeding to wear out TWO cops WHILE handcuffed and escaping!)
... the other way soft and sweet but still down for his bro'.
I mean, you can't make this shit up! I'm loving this story and I don't care what anyone else thinks. These boys are our Bonnie & Clyde.
Yeah, I know, Bonnie & Clyde went out in a blaze of glory, but lets try to save these two from that fate. Shall we?
Who wants to pitch in for bail?
Posted by: Taylor Siluwe | 25 February 2008 at 09:55
Oh, Taylor, that was funny but let's get real. We all know that many gay porn actors have problems with drugs and violence and arrest records.
Taleon was already on bail from ESCAPING from the police after being ARRESTED on drugs and weapons charges. You can't make that stuff up.

"Who wants to pitch in for bail?"
I'd rather watch your Youtube video again, Taylor. Your piece (and your reading of it) was great. Acutally, if they made a movie of your poem, one of these guys could be in it--if they can act.
Wonder how well they'll adjust to prison life? Martial Arts, hunh? Well, atleast they'll be able to choose their "social" set up in jail. Either you have to know how to fight, or you got to be real pretty. I had the latter...memories-- misty, water colored memories...
Posted by: Derrick from Philly | 25 February 2008 at 11:04
Jeffrey makes a very good point. These are not "boys" but "men" and have to answer for their actions.
That's a cute story Taylor, but something tells me the victimns won't be enterratined. The Korean immigrant family lost their son in Iraq, the father needs a new heart and now they have to deal with insurance and financial losses.
Porn is about fantasy, but sometimes we have problems separating the fantasy from the reality. The reality is these brothers are drug addicts and burglars. If they will break into a business or are arrested with DRUGS AND WEAPOINS, who knows who they have hurt.
Posted by: Tony R | 25 February 2008 at 11:13
Derrick: Thanks for the props. A movie? Hmmm... I'd certainly cast one of them in a role in a heartbeat (we could work on the acting thing -- extended late-night rehearsals ...).
Tony: Your right, the Asian victims of this case were way sympethetic, my heart went out to them. It seems our boys picked the wrong people to inflict more pain on.
But I know about drugs and desperation and poverty. I've done my dirt (thank the gods I never got caught), and I'll never look down on someone for breaking the law. So many do it (white collar, tax cheats, war-mongering for oil profits, etc), then piously climb their pedastal and demand action against these more "urban" criminals with pretty brown faces.
Fuck that. They fucked up. Yeah. But I still want them to pull through this mess and clean up their lives.
Sometimes, the curse of being born pretty (and in pairs) can really be a heavy load. None of us really know their story, but I find it interesting and I desperately wanna know more.
The Goffney brothers need our help, not ridicule because we all wanna sleep with them but can't.

I'd like to take this time out to remind everyone of Flavawork's irresponsible practices with their models. What I am referring to is the bareback practices that they have chosen to engage their models in for a profit. With titles like "Raw Thugs", they are doing the community of Black, Latino, and other men of color (who are most at risk) a grave disservice. The prevalence of bareback porn sends the message to porn customers that HIV/AIDS is no longer an issue and anything can be done that "feels good" regardless of consequence. I disagree with anyone from that company being given a forum to coldly express that anything is "too sad". Their vice president died last years from "pneumonia" and yet they still continue to sell these bareback DVD's. THAT is "too sad". Shame on you Flavaworks!
Posted by: Blah | 25 February 2008 at 11:40
BLAH: blah, blah ...
... it would be nice to stick to the subject at hand. I mean, we're talking about two young men in trouble. Let's not throw the weight of the HIV epidemic into the mix.
Unless, of course, they were breaking into that store to funnel money to Flavaworks.
Hmmmm ... this story gets more interesting by the idiotic second .....
Posted by: Taylor Siluwe | 25 February 2008 at 12:05
Taylor, that is among the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. You might not "look down" on criminals, but the law does. My cousin was killed in a break in and I know store owners who have lost their lives. I've also been ripped off, but it's nice to hear you have "done your dirt." (Shaking head)
No one, at least here, is "looking down" or "on a pedestal." They broke the law. PERIOD. They broke into businesses and stole money that does not belong to them. At least one has a rap sheet with drigs aned weapons. These are not choirboys. It's also ridiculous to bring up white collar criminals and race. By definition, white collar criminals are not VIOLENT but NON VIOLENT. These twin brothers are VIOLENT CRIMINALS.
As far as the "curse of being born pretty", WTF? Anecdotal evidence and studies show these people usually have MORE opportunities, not less. You can always get a job at McDonals or Starbucks or Kinko's, you dont have to break into businesses or steal.
I understand that your blog is more into sex and porn and you get carried away with these things, but, I'm reading Rod's post and all the comments and didn't any judgments. Even if they were, it's obvious these boys have problems. If they're guilty, which even Stevie Wonder should see, they should simply face their consequences. You shouldn't give lenient sentences to PRETTY BOYS or PRETTY GIRLS.

"It seems our boys picked the wrong people to inflict more pain on."
They're not "our boys." Just because the brothers made some porn and developed some fans, I'm not sure why some people regard them as heroes. I'm not knocking porn, I'vbe wtached my share, but it takes a REAL MAN to get up every day, go to work and put food on the table. It's easier to live off of youer looks, make porn or steal.
But yes, the next line is right, they "inflicted pain on others." I've also lost someone to a break in. I get the feeling you wouldnt be so concerned if they werern't cute or porn stars.
Posted by: derrick | 25 February 2008 at 12:22
Taylor, to be honest I don't think you are a moderator of the comments on Rod's site. Your first comment was a humorous anecdote on a story about two porn performers. Your other comments are equally as humorous, unintentional or not. The story included a quote from someone at Flavaworks. Flavaworks is a peddler of bareback porn, and is known for their irresponsible practices regarding their models. Then the person has the nerve to provide "insight" like "too sad" on a tragic story regarding two of their models when the company itself is tragic. Carry on . . . .
Posted by: Blah | 25 February 2008 at 12:26
Taylor, it's admirable that you want them to pull throuigh and clean up. So do I. So let's hope their serve their time and clean up their ways.
No one is "ridiculing" these men. They chose to rob and steal (and escap from police cars and carry handguns and ...) just like they chose to make porn movies.
Derrick makes a point. You can always get a job at Starbucks or telemarketing.

Meanwhile, far less interst in the story of the gay black teen shot ansd killed in Florida ...
Posted by: Bradley Jax | 25 February 2008 at 12:48
Ok now, let's calm down. There is no need to go off on our lovely blog brother Taylor. Ok, so he is more "passionate" about the fate of these two young men, we all want to reduce violence and substance abuse in our community, and hope the situation works itself out.
Posted by: ATL Kid | 25 February 2008 at 13:42
I'm not necessarily bothered by the Flavaworks comments. It's a legitimate reaction to a news event. In all honesty, Taylor has a point, let's not get sidestracked by the bareback/HIV debate.
But I do admire Blah's concern!

There is also a porn star named Ninja that is in jail now. He started in a couple of movies from Streetlife.com and LatinoFanClub.com He is in jail for a weapons charge.

Way too much here to respond to individual. So I'll respond to Bradley, who not only has a excellent point, it is the reason why this story is so important to me.
Since I first reported this story on my site, the hits have gone through the roof. People have emailed me. I've been digging and digging trying to get to the bottom of it. But like Bradley said, people care more about salacious sexy porn gangstas than they do about transgender teens murdered on the street.
And one more thing, the only violence I've seen from these two (well, one actually) was resisting arrest (and who hasn't done that? -- kidding). All this talk about loosing someone in a break in, that's horrible, and I feel for anyone who has had to live through that.
But until 'our boyz' stick that gun in someones face, and actually commit a violent crime, I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt.
And YES, its just because they're cute. I'm shallow like that. But at least I 'fess up to it. The rest of you are too, that's why you keep checking back to see if anything new is said about our Pretty Young Gangstas.
LOL!!! You know its true ....
