One of the standout tracks is Verve Remixed 3 is Sarah Vaughan's classic "Fever" remixed by Adam Freeland. As always, Sarah Vaughan's voice is haunting and the reverb on this track is killer. The "Fever" remix is track is in heavy rotation everywhere, from Victor Calderone's recent party in South Beach to the neighborhood Starbucks. The music video& ; is ... meh. Too bad their there wasn't any archival footage of Sarah Vaughan.
Please.& ; No comments about Madonna having "the" definitive version of "Fever." No, no, no. It's all about Sarah Vaughan or Peggy Lee.

'Oh, and please no comments about Madonna having "the" definitive version of "Fever."'
LOL that's funny.

Only some 20 year old would say Madonna's "Fever" was "the" version. Miss Peggy Lee has "the" definitive version.

I agree with Andrew C. "Fever" belongs to Peggy Lee, but I love Sassy none the less.

Lee can NEVAH touch Sassy, and in my not-so-humble estimation, the definitive is the original sung by Little Willie John. NOPE ! ! I'm not that old, but that's the version I first heard, and the one I still play. It still kicks!

Damn. I almost forgot Sylvester's version of "Fever." I know I hurt myself to that song back in the day.
