Democrats Launch "McCainPedia"

Since it's often difficult to determine where presumptive Republican nominee John McCain stands on the issues, the Democratic National Committee has organized McCain's shifting policy platforms into a Wikipedia-style electronic platform. McCainPedia is a multi-media compendium of opposition research on McCain, and, like Wikipedia, it allows anyone to use it or share it in any way they choose. McCainPedia is also updated around the clock.

Of special interest to gays and lesbians is the extensive page that chronicles McCain's various positions on same sex marriage and gay rights. "McCain Wishy-Washy on Constitutional Marriage Amendment," is one subsection, that shows "First He Was Against" the federal marriage amendment and later "Then He Was For It." Who knows what is McCain's position du jour on marriage ...
