Over the weekend, the U.S. Olympic Trials for Track and Field athletes became must-see-tv for track and field enthusiasts, and, HDTV HQ fans of bulging track stars.
Fourth place in the 100 meter finals with 9.85 is bulge-a-riffic Clemson University sprinter Travis Padgett. The 21-year-old senior came up short by one-hundredth of a second and missed an automatic berth on the U.S. Olympic team for the 2008 summer games in Beijing. Travis will be the first alternate in the 100-meter dash on the U.S. Olympic team to the Beijing Games. The North Carolina native will be one of three additional track athletes in China to fill out the relay teams and serve in case of an injury to one of the U.S. team’s top three, Tyson Gay, Walter Dix and Darvis Patton, all of whom will be featured on Rod 2.0 this week.
More bulging photos AFTER THE JUMP.
Travis looks fit in all the right places.

Travis Padget is one of the finest young men to make the Olympic trials. It's hard to choose between Walter Dix, Darvis Patton and LaShawn Merritt.

What a man, what a man, what a man.

Y'all just so nasty up in here. Nasty and political. I love it!

See, he's an alternate on the relay teams, so it's important he practice his "stick" work.
Hand that off, baby!

LOL, I did watch the men's track and field finals...
Why didn't you show the guy who wore a WHITE track suit in the lane nest to Mr. Gay in the 100m finals? I'm sure he gave some of the children "the vapors"!

In preparation for the Olympic trials, I watched the NCAA track and field championship, so I got a preview of Travis Padget and Walter Dix. Thank God for HDTV. At one point before the semifinals Travis Padget was waiting for the race to start and you could clearly see the outline of his head.
I thought Walter Dix was going to put Tyson Gay's eye out with that thing in the final...lol
I can't wait until the Olympics. they showed Felix Sanchez as "one to watch" for the Olympics and he is truly "One to Watch". And lets not even begin to talk about the Jamaicans......I love track and field!!!!!

On a similar thread, some of y'all tried to explain to me why track-n-field guys stopped wearing jock straps or cups back in the 1990s. Something to do with "not being constricted." Yeah, but it leaves "queens" like me constricted. I still say they let their "stuff" bounce around in those spandex outfits just to torture middle-aged homos.
