It's Official! Joe Liebeman Will Speak at Republican Convention
Joe Lieberman's transition to the dark side is complete. Confirming an earlier report on Rod 2.0, the Democratic Party's vice presidential candidate in 2000, who is now an "independent and one of John McCain's strongest supporters, will speak at the Republican National Convention. The Huffington Post has details on Joe's coming out party:
Lieberman will deliver a speech when Republicans gather in St. Paul, Minn., to nominate McCain for president, a party official told The Associated Press on Wednesday. The official requested anonymity because a formal announcement had yet to be made.
Asked during a visit to Georgia whether he would be speaking at the convention, Lieberman smiled and said: "it's quite possible, but I'll let them announce it."
Lieberman is reportedly one of McCain's top choices as a potential vice presidential running mate. Republican strategists say top McCain advisers "have been reaching out to big donors and high-profile delegates in key states to gauge the impact of picking an abortion-rights supporter like Lieberman. Conservative activists, in turn, are waging an increasingly vocal campaign against the move, raising the prospect of acrimony at the convention."
Since the former Democratic presidential candidate and vice presidential nominee is officially transitioning to the other side, he has to get his talking points together. Remember when Lieberman opposed right-wing Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito? Because of the nominee's views on equal opportunity and discrimination were too stringent? Seems like Lieberman "was wrong, now he likes Alito."

And have one thing to say, Obama is not going to defend Israel, since that's all he knows, and, that the GOP will bomb any country that does not do what he thinks they should on issues that revolve around Israel. He should just be a paid lobbyist for Israel since he is not doing anything for the citizens of this country.
And, thanks for the Alito analogy, its just a shame that these people keep getting elected, which is why I have come to the conclusion, that this is far from a democracy anymore, unless you check a certain box on the census count.
