McCain Will Not Choose a "Pro-Gay Rights" Running Mate

As the schizophrenic branding of John McCain continues—vowing to run a "respectable" campaign while double-teaming with Joe Lieberman to attack Barack Obama's patriotism—the Republican presidential wannabe makes one thing aboundantly clear: A pro-choice running mate is more acceptable than a "pro-gay rights" running mate.
Speaking aboard his campaign plane to the neo-conservative Weekly Standard, McCain "said that he is open to choosing a pro-choice running mate" and named former Pennsylvania governor and Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge as meriting "serious consideration" as opposed to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. "I think it's a fundamental tenet of our party to be pro-life but that does not mean we exclude people from our party that are pro-choice. We just have a--albeit strong--but just it's a disagreement. And I think Ridge is a great example of that. Far more so than Bloomberg, because Bloomberg is pro-gay rights, pro, you know, a number of other issues.''
In July, Weekly Standard Editor in Chief Fred Barnes argued McCain needs is "going to have" to start cticizing gay rights issues. Mission accomplished.
Still waiting on the Log Cabin Republicans to formally endorse this joker for president. 'Cuz, you know, he isn't as bad as Bush ...

That's a bad picture of that old bitch. Good.
Before I get accused of ageism (like I really care)--"old" is not the issue here. "Bitch" is the issue and the problem.

And to think you can go to many gay websites and still see gay folks saying they will not vote or will vote for this "man."

Derrick, since you are so fond of Slim Jim, I am including the links below.
Obama has been here in Hawai'i for the last week, visiting his grandmother and sister. Here are some photos of him from the local paper:
Saying good-bye to Mufi Hannemann, mayor of Honolulu, at the airport this morning, looking sporty in a White Sox cap.
Body-surfing at Sandy Beach yesterday morning. The paper says: "Obama's tan line clearly revealed that he hadn't taken off his shirt in the sun in a while."
Paying respects to his mother yesterday at Halona Blowhole, where his mother's ashes were scattered.
If you've never lived in a state with only 1.3 million people, you can only imagine how excited this place gets when anyone local makes it on the big stage. Obama was treated like a rock star while he was here.

What is so alarming about the McCain nomination is that he is still taken so seriously. He is such a shallow man, constantly putting the proverbial foot in the proverbial mouth and yet he seems to escape mainstream media derision.
Why?

Good ol' fashioned racism Chris. Just watch the Fox news fools for a few hours and their agenda becomes apparent, their evil intent isn't hidden behind their phony smiles, they HATE HATE HATE Obama, and for no real concrete reason -- so they make up things, twist the truth, LIE with a smile, all the while trying to pretend their own ELITIST, racist, homophobic, media and world affairs manipulating candidate actually is a man of the people.
And sadly, these dumbed down Americans eat this crap up.

Hmmm ... so McCain won't choose a pro-gay rights running mate ... yet he will accept $2,300 from the co-founder of MANHUNT.net ... Very interesting ...

Fox News is truly a neo-Nazi organ. Just because our Nazis don't wear funny little mustaches like Hitler or shave their heads like skinheads, that doesn't mean they're not Nazis. They just have their own American style.
And Taylor, the American people are indeed dumbed down, but I do not believe they are so dumb that they don't pick up on the true intent of Fox News or Rush Limbaugh or Mike Savage. I believe that a substantial portion of the American people actually craves fascism.

Taylor and Jim, thanks for the excellent posts, I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I think that I could go to a third world country and find a voting public more educated on the issues and where the candidates stand than here and would be more vocal about issues that affect them.
Sadly, too may people in this country believe everything Fixed Noise, CNN, MSNBC and all the other outlets say as truth and the whole truth and can't and won't take the time to learn things for themselves in this day of technology.

So true Luther,
MSNBC pissed me off recently with the full time coverage of John Edwards affair. You know, John Edwards who's not running for anything, doesn't hold any public office-- that John Edwards. And they claim, well, his wife is dying of cancer. So, 24 hr humiliation in front of the nation will make her feel better??? I sent a nasty email to Dan Abrams for his network repeating what Rush 'windbag' Limbaugh suggested about Edwards wife must not have been giving him any head.
!!!????!!!!
Yeah, Fox is racist without the sheets. But the others can be just as stupid. I'm SO over our news channels. I want my Al Jazeera!!!

And Manhunt's co owner gives money to "Keating Five" McCain and other homophobic Republicans.

Thank you so much, JIM. I'm beginning to think that Slim Jim is one of those lucky souls who get better lookin' as they get older. Maybe that's what happens to anyone who spends a lot of time in Hawaii...you lucky soul.
