The week after making history and accepting the Democratic nomination for president before a crowd of 70,000 people, Barack Obama is omnipresent on the news stands. In addition to being seen on the covers of Newsweek, US News & World Report, Upscale and numerous other American publications, the stylish and elegant senator also makes the cover of the recently-launched French GQ.
Obama is profiled in a short feature and tops the list of the editors' 25 most stylish men. "Les 25 Hommes les plus styles" are a virtual who's who of Rod 2.0 faves, including politically active and very! straight!George Clooney (2); French television news anchor Harry Roselmack (7); hot-bodied and stylish French football phenom Thierry Henry (who covered French GQ in June); gay-friendly music prodigy and fashionista Kanye West (16) and British Formula 1 race car driver Lewis Hamilton.
Last spring, fashion forward Paper published an editorial entitled "Mr. President" that was dedicated to the fashion aesthetic of the Democratic presidential nominee. Donatella Versace told fashion editors the spring/summer 2009 Versace men's collection is "inspired by the type of man Barack Obama represents."

Ditto, Rod. Welcome back, you were missed.
I'm absolutely delighted to see Barack Obama getting the international recognition he deserves. This is the man for a new century to take America in the right direction.

That is a great cover and symbolizes Obama's international appeal. It will be a shame if this man is not elected.

Welcome back, Rod! Great having you back!! Interesting that the cover reads "OBAMA élu" which hasn't happened yet! I wonder if they meant "nominated". Great cover nonetheless!!
