I always said that two things had to happen before America would ever elect a black man to the presidency: a national disaster along with a disastrous Republican ticket. Well....

(Yes, I always assumed the black person would be a Democrat. Colin blew it, baby...shoulda' switched parties when he left the White House).

I mean, State Department. They (don't ask me who they are)they claim that George the Second Idiot had to beg Colin Powell not to endorse Slim Jim. Do y'all believe it?

No, I don't believe it. On election day, we will see exactly how popular is Obama.

No matter how large of a lead we think Obama has, It's imperative that EVERYONE GO OUT AND VOTE! This has to be a landslide win in order for it to stick and to compensate for "hanging chads," "lost ballots," "broken voting machines," and "voting irregularities". If you aren't registered, please do. If you are registered, PLEASE VOTE!

You said it freeleo. I wouldn't be surprised if the Republicans don't have police intimidating voters using tactics just short of water hoses and police dogs. You know they are sitting in rooms plotting dirty tricks.

freeleo and Lavenderpop, you are both absolutely right. Everything that can be rigged will be rigged.

But right now, I am just hoping we are even going to have an election. Things are getting bad. Very, very bad.

Gallup's last poll the week before the 2004 election showed more Kerry supporters too. I wonder why they even publish this poll, as it is irrelevant to the election. We don't elect the winner of a national vote, we elect using 50 separate state votes, plus the District. No one who wants Obama to win can afford to relax.
