It seems too little too late. Over the weekend the Pennsylvania Republican Party began a last-minute ad buy (video) that blitzed the airwaves in the state's major markets with an attack ad linking Barack Obama to the controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright, his longtime former pastor and spiritual advisor.
Greg Sargent at TPM: "The McCain campaign's claim that Pennsylvania is within reach—and could be key to a McCain victory—has prompted outside groups allied with McCain to really get serious about hosing down the state with slime."
In April and May, the North Carolina GOP and National Republican Congressional Committee aired race-baiting commercials in North Carolina and Mississippi. Sarah Palin began re-introducing Wright as a talking point earlier this month. Not sure how effective these ads are today because most polls show Pennsylvania as safely blue.

Er, isn't this a dead issue?
I should hope that the Republicans not expose themselves around any aggressive canines. They're known to react negatively to the smells of fear and desperation.
