On the day Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich returns to work after being lead away in handcuffs, President-Elect Barack Obama now says the disgraced governor must go.
Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs says the president-elect agrees with other prominent politicians in Illinois that "under the current circumstances, it is difficult for the governor to effectively do his job and serve the people of Illinois." Gibbs says the president-elect agrees with those who want the Illinois legislature to consider a special election to fill the seat.
Blagojevich was arrested Tuesday and accused of scheming to sell Obama's open seat for cash. Blagojevich is free on bond and denies wrongdoing.
Meanwhile, the Sun-Times reports Jesse Jackson Jr. is "Senate Candidate 5" who allegedly "offered to raise money for Gov. Blagojevich in return for
being appointed as Barack Obama’s replacement." Jackson has been the most aggressive candidate for the position. Anyone familiar with Chicago politics will recall how the Jackson family shook down Coca Cola and Anheuser-Busch. If true the revelation is certainly not a surprise.

My grandmother always told me if you can't find nothing nice to say then don't say nothing.
However, I think if I were Barak I would welcome EVERY "blessing in disguise".
