R&B singer Mario Dewar Barrett, better known as Mario, is featured in next month's issue of Men's Fitness. The 22-year-old singer has been mostly known for being on the thin side, but, he says he was inspired by his recent stint on Dancing with the Stars to build up muscle.
Super Mario shares his abtastic workout routine on the magazine's "How I Got Ripped" page. (Scanned into a PDF here.) 10 halfway crunches, 10 full crunches, 10 full situps. "That's one set," he says. "I do ten sets and there are no rest periods."
"There's definitely pressure for me to be a sex symbol. I like to wake up in the morning and feel good about what I see in the mirror. It's a natural high that keeps me going."
Mario really has grown up, love it.
