Shawne "Lights Out" Merriman, the most feared defender in the NFL, is afraid of one thing: Brüno's pelvis.
Despite some homophobic teasing from fans, the 6-foot-four and 272 pound San Diego Chargers' linebaker saw Brüno last night and has been Tweeting nervously before and after the movie. "i want to see bruno but i might feel a certain kind of way you know?"
Brüno's homo subtext must still be on Merriman's mind. The footballer has been teasing Terrell Owens because "his shirt is off all the time." Which of course makes Merriman upload a TwitPic of his own shirtless workout. WHEN YOU JUMP, that pic plus Merriman's very memorable 2007 shirtless photo in GQ. You don't get gay just from watching Brüno. Maybe some other movies might give a brotha some ideas though ...
