One of the faces (and bodies) you may have wanted to see more of at the IAAF World Championships in Berlin: Stéphan Buckland. The Mauritian athlete was competing in the 200 meters, where he won the gold medal at the 2008 Worlds in Stuttgart (20.57) and silver at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne (20.06).
No such luck in Berlin. Stéphan pulled a muscle during the semi-final heats and didn't qualify. Not sure which muscle he pulled because obviously there are quite a few prominent bugles. Rod has been covering the IAAF World Championships in Berlin for the past week and this week. And he has been doing an excellent job I should add. If Iverson, Santana, and Anthony were in the competition, I'm sure they would be featured as well. And showing all the relevant parts as well.

Perhaps you didn't realize this but not everyone reading this blog lives in America? I am in London and am always quite pleased when our GB makes Rod 2.0. I often read comments from readers in other parts of the world who say the same thing.
