It's a wrap. Rapper Nelly and R&B star Ashanti have split. After years of rumors, apparently Ashanti had enough of Nelly's jump-offs, Gatecrasher at the NY Daily News reports.
An insider claims the two split because Ashanti was ready to settle down, while her beau wanted to sow his wild oats. Sure enough, the "Hot in Herre" rapper has been squiring video vixen Jessica Rabbit around Las Vegas and Miami. A rep for both declined to comment.
The hip-hop super-couple managed to keep their four-year romance secret until Nelly confirmed only last November that they were a couple. Ashanti confessed earlier this year that a wedding was "absolutely in the cards".
Too bad. They seemed like such a happy couple but this is probably better for Ashanti.

It's always best to breakup when the relationship is no longer healthy. I applaud people who realize that and decide to move on. I guess Nelly worked up his body and wanted to share it with everyone.

Nelly is fine but Ashanti can do a helluva lot better. Now Nelly is frontin' with that Jessica Rabbit video ho...fall into that!
