A guilty verdict in the Robert Reaves murder trial, reports Durham's ABC11.
Reaves is the formerly closeted anti-gay Pentecostal bishop accused of killing a woman in his congregation. Prosecutors say Reaves was rebuffed after making sexual advances toward a former college basketball star who rented a room from him ... so he stalked and killed the man's girlfriend in revenge.
The Wake County jury deliberated for a day and a half.
Reaves, the former minister at the fundamentalist and anti-gay Cedar International Fellowship in Durham, has twice been charged with sexual misconduct with boys. He was found guilty of first-degree murder and faces life in prison.
Glass houses, stones, etc.
