Fame kills. Kanye West's much-hyped "Fame Kills" tour with Lady Gaga has been canceled.
No explanation has been given but the backlash after Kanye's meltdown at the MTV Video Music Awards and hijacking Taylor Swift's acceptance speech could be a factor.
50 Cent slammed the tour—which he called "the gay tour"—in an interview on New York's Hot 97 on Wednesday.
Was Kanye "Swift"-Boated?

Gaga is likely going to tour just without Kanye.

Didn't Kanye say he was going to lay low for a while? He needed to cancel the tour to maintain what bit of credibility he still has.

I was actually looking forward to this. I thought they were an interesting mix: bringing the gay crowd with the hip hop crowd. It's a shame it didn't come to fruition.

Umm.....I'd like to know who is bringing which crowd Trey? Enquiring minds......

It's her loss. What Kanye did at the award show was bad and inappropriate, but it wasn't THAT bad. I think a bit too much is being made of it. I know that I've done and said a few things as a result of having a few too many drinks. This was a youth-oriented award show, no one was receiving a Nobel Prize. Kanye should just put this behind him and move on. There is no need to lay low or become overly contemplative.

ya know if this was a one time thing for Kanyetta, I would be like let it go.. However, this is his classic behavior, he deserves the backlash.

So that excuses it?

pulease Kanye cannot be excused for his behaviour. What he did would still be rude, obnoxious and unacceptable even if he was a private dinner party. Perhaps if he loses a few concert tours and feels it in his pocket he will think very carefully before pulling that stunt again. He'll survive so his stans need not worry! I on the otherhand worry about young folks that think that what he did SHOULD be excused!

Let's blame 50 Cents for this one too.
