Foodies would have enjoyed last night's dinner at the James Beard-winning Mangoes on Duval Street in Key West. Seared filet mignon (medium rare of course), blue cheese, garlic potatoes and broccoli.
Our host Steve Smith from the Key West Business Guild enjoyed the yellowtail snapper, very light and fluffy, a local delicacy.
Dessert and something for fangbangers, AFTER THE JUMP.
Vanilla crème brûlée, perfectly crisp.
The main outdoor patio of Mangoes looking toward Duval Street.
Jameson, one of the winners of the vampire contest on Duval Street, dropped in to say hello but didn''t care for a "bite". Jameson's a big hit with the local fangbangers .
