During the early debate over the health care reform bill, a number of House Republicans led by anti-gay Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) repeatedly attempted to stop the Democratic Women's Caucus from arguing that the proposed HCR bill would benefit women. Price and the unruly all-male GOP lawmakers repeatedly shouted over the women and raised objections. "I object, I object, I object, I object, I object!" Price shouted as Rep. Lois Capps (D-CA) tried to hold the floor.
That's the Republican health care plan. Don't get sick and object to everything.

They don't realize that this just makes them look even worse. They really don't get it.

Is he like 10. So immature and rude, I'm glad they got over this first hurdle. Let's hope the Senate can get it together!

GOP's...as usual.
Though:
"arguing that the proposed HCR bill would benefit women"
What was there to argue? Of course it would benefit women: lesbians and transwomen don't count as "women" or something?

The Goppers have a huge opportunity, given how congressional Democrats and Obama have disappointed many core Democratic constituencies. But, they are acting so crazy they are likely to squander it.
Good.

Well that's what they signed up for to be in congress. But those women can handle those "men", they aren't defenseless fawns who can't handle a man shouting at them because they disagree.
