Via The Washington Post, powerful video of the first same sex couples arriving at Washington D.C. Superior Court to apply for marriage licenses. Angelisa Young and Sinjoyla Townsend were the first couple in line. Cuc Vu and Gwen Migita, have been together since October 2008, are also long-time residents of the District. That's Reginald Stanley in the center, who will also marry his partner Rocky Galloway on March 9.
Totally loving that we're seeing so many diverse couples at the forefront of marriage in DC. Congratulations to them all. Watch the video WHEN YOU JUMP ...

This is great, and congratulations!
O, was expecting to see some interview of Reginald Stanley and Rocky Galloway couple, I've read some of their story, it was beautiful and inspirational! Well, I mean every couple's story is just as beautiful and inspirational too!

My partner and I have been together for 8 years today. Stories like this give us hope that one day, when the time is right, we will be able to join each other as a happily married couple. DC has made a wonderful step- maybe Atlanta will follow.
