A "booze-fueled gay sex orgy" is being investigated in the murder of Eugène Terre’Blanche, the South African white supremacist who was beaten and stabbed to death at his remote farm on April 3. Two farm workers are charged with the killing originally thought to have been motivated by a pay dispute.
South African and Zimbabwean media report the two black farm workers claim the 69-year-old leader of the far-right Afrikaner Resistance Movement (AWB) tried to sodomize them.
"'My instructions from my client are that there was some sodomy going on and it sparked the murder of Mr Terre'Blanche,' one of the workers' lawyers, Puna Moroko [said]. He added that Mr Terre'Blanche had tried to have sex "with one or both" of the workers. Police have denied earlier allegations that a condom was found on the scene. “100% no, no no,” Captain Adéle Myburgh told reporters.
The two suspects, Chris Mahlangu, 27, and a 15-year-old, face a number of charges, including crimen injuria– a crime under South African common law, defined to be the act of 'unlawfully, intentionally and seriously impairing the dignity of another' – for pulling down Mr Terre’Blanche’s pants and exposing his private parts after they had crushed his skull with an iron bar and chopped him with a machete. The Afrikaans-language weekly newspaper Rapport reported claims that Mr Terre’Blanche had mistreated white and black workers on his farm and that a teenage boy, who was a member of the AWB, regularly visited Mr Terre’Blanche, who sexually abused him."
Terre’Blanche was seen buying liquor with the suspects, reports New Zimbabwe, which describes the scene as a "booze-fueled gay sex orgy" gone wrong.
"A local liquor store owner has told detectives Terreblanche frequented his store in the company of the two men now accused of killing him. Their last visit was just HOURS before his murder – and Terreblanche, who drank whiskey, had bought a six-pack of the cider, Savanna. A police source said: 'These workers were fairly new on Terreblanche’s property, and we have heard claims that he may have been killed in a turf war between his former partners and the two workers now arrested. That doesn’t appear likely, but what we have not discounted is that this was a sex orgy gone wrong.' "
Terre'Blanche, who was jailed for three years for assaulting a black petrol station worker and the attempted murder of a black security guard in 1996, was a prominent figure during the years of the white minority apartheid regime. Needless to say, the murder has heightened race tensions in South Africa almost16 years after the end of apartheid. It's also created fears around the upcoming World Cup games.

I can see it.

I have no way of knowing what happened one way or the other. It would be nice if some citizens of South Africa who read Rod 2.0 would post their insights and opinions about this case. As Osiris said, "I can see it." But it could also be just a variation of the "gay panic" defense.

Good riddance to bad trash.

Hm, torn, want, details. White supremacist trying to sleep with black hired help? I guess I'm hoping for that scenario to be the truth rather than a twist on gay panic defense? Talk about the lesser of two evils...either way, good riddance.

...and over in the good ole' U.S. and A, white slave owners sleeping with the help...hue (all colors) and cry (soft and loud) observed today by all...

I would never go so far as to say "good riddance" when anyone is killed.
However, there is a karmic irony for a man who hated blacks (or at least, thought they were inferior) to be murdered by two who also alleged he tried to screw them.
Very interesting. But with Africa fast becoming a beacon of homophobia, the gay panic defense would be a likely excuse to garner sympathy.

you know what they say, you live by the sword you die by sword...he tortured black south africans so now he faced is own music - i do not however condone or encourage murder. The one thing that this revealed is how easily south africans are able to kill and how normal murder is starting to become.
