Awww. Fifteen-year-old Mark Indelicato, who just wrapped a brilliant four-year run as Justin Suarez on Ugly Betty, learns that he is too young to audition for a role on Glee. Indelicato tweets his heartbreak: "I'm not 16 yet. My dreams have been crushed."
Can't the producers make an exception?
Only earlier that day the teen actor asked fans for their opinions on casting: "Everyone has been saying that I should be Kurt's boyfriend. I was thinking more of an emo, eye-liner wearing rocker ala Joan Jett. Thought?"
And hours ago: The teen actor uploaded this poignant "Happy Birthday" to Ugly Betty star America Ferrara.
So sweet. But Glee isn't going anywhere so there's always next year. Wish Mark the best on Twitter or at his blog ...

he is so talented. good luck mark!

GLEE's LOSS

No worries. Mark will be 16 years next year right? And he will make a fantastic addition to the show but NOT as Kurt's BF. He deserves his own storyline and role.

Doubt there will be a change in policy, the producers don’t want to deal with the under 16 child labor laws and the number of hours they may work

Mark will definitely shine on GLEE and I gree OLIVER...he needs his own shine! He brings far too much to the table and is too gifted to be regulated to somebody's best friend. He's almost like a gay cheerleader--popular and revered! He needs to come through and bring it to the cheerleader--like a Diva arrives at the school!

You left three very ugly comments about this 15YO BOY over the weekend that were auto-flagged because of graphic language. Now you leave another silly remark. Pathetic if a GROWN MAN's only comments on this blog are to find fault with and insult a teenaged boy. smdh -RM
