Current TV's Mariana van Zeller goes to Uganda and reports on the influence of evangelicals in that nation's state-sponsored anti-gay terror campaign. The documentary airs May 26 and several gay men were willing to speak on camera, certainly a bold act in a nation considering the death penalty for cases of "aggravated" homosexuality.

I certainly hope that Mariana van Zeller’s interview subjects completely understood how this video was going to be used. I also hope that it was done right.
Do you notice how in the video, when Martin Ssempe declares that “sodomy is an abomination,” the woman standing to his right looks quite displeased?
Meanwhile, all the men cheer Ssempe on to kill...
