I think its alright. I like it better than the ubiquitous weaves and extensions on many Black women these days. I've gotten to the point of hating that, especially since it often looks fake. I'd love to see more black women wear their hair "natural." My sister even had weaves/extensions put on my little nieces' heads (8 and 10 years old). And I've noticed that is not uncommon. Why the hell do little girls need fake hair?!
Sorry for the tirade... Black women's hair issues just get me a little hype.

I am a big Janatic and I hate it. Janet and short hair makes no sense to me and it makes her face look hard. I like the long hair on her and it's part of her performances as much as the dance moves and costumes she wears. Not a good look at all.

I like the short her. It's more natural and less maintenance. It's a great way to celebrate her womanhood, age and style.

No offense to Janet fans, but do you really think all that ALL that hair was hers? Imo her "real" hair is probably very short anyways, closer to this than that looooong weave anyway. Go Janet, do you!
