After more than seven decades in show business, six Emmy Awards and a high octane Facebook campaign, the fabulous Betty White finally hosted Saturday Night Live. And from the opening monologue—"Now that I know what Facebook is, it sounds like an awful waste of time"—to "MacGruber" and the Census interviewee, Betty killed in every skit. Killed it. Last night's episode was easily the show's best in decades.
Jay-Z's self-tribute? Not so much.
Watch Betty's monologue and those skits WHEN YOU JUMP ...

I agree! She truly killed it last night.

That old girl has more spunk and comedy in her than most kids today. Go Betty!

betty white was the best thing that happened to that show in years. last night's ep only dragged when the regular cast jumped in.

I agree. That show last night reminded me of the SNL of the 70s when every show was hilarious.

LAST NIGHT'S SHOW WAS THE BEAST!
From the opening monologue to the quiet way with awkward, but brilliant timing she took over the Dominican TV show to the challenge to Sally O'Malley's I'M 50! declaration with her own I'M 90! But the KILLER for me was THE MCINTOSH'S "SCARED STRAIGHT" and her "ode" to The Wizard of OZ. My God, I would pay money to see her and Keenan Thompson in a money! Her retelling of the story and then their turn to the WIZARD OF ASS literally made me spit out the water I was drinking and I always thought that was just a TV prop! But when she came back it the room and said it again, I ALMOST RAN AWAY FROM HOME!
She was amazing and I recorded it and will watch AGAIN AND AGAIN (at least once TODAY).
BRAVO! She was a testament to Everyone and Anyone that you are NEVER too old to do your best work!!!
BETTY WHITE FOR PRESIDENT OR AT LEAST MAYOR OF NYC! SOMETHING. She was on from beginning to end!
WOW...BRAVO!

Yes, she was HILARIOUS! I actually made the time to sit down and watch it. She was Great and it was good to see some of my favorite cast members come back.
Maya made me laugh with her Whitney impersonation!
