Here is the much anticipated and official version of the brand new music video for Kelly Rowland's "Commander." The official video is longer and a different edit than the version that leaked overnight. The ferosh David Guetta-produced dancefloor anthem is from Rowland's upcoming self-titled album and is expected to hit the #1 position on the U.S club charts this week.
There are two fabulous sequences in the Masashi Muto-directed and Fatima Robinson-choreographed video that pay tribute to black gay club kids: The runway vogue battle and the duckwalk. Love it. Watch it AFTER THE JUMP ...

OMG OMG OMG OMG FIERCE FEROCIOUS BETCH!!!!!!!! THAT'S AMAZING!!!!

TAKE THAT MATTHEW KNOWLES! I wonder what he's gonna pull out of his *** in an attempt to derail Kelly's reinvention. I like her sound and image and this is her most promising endeaver since her DC days. She has sat by quietly awaiting her chance. I really am pulling for her and I will LEGALLY download her music ASAP! Go Kelly!

I'm happy for her but I wish she would have went with a different sound - "Worldly Beat" sound (i.e. Somi or Eliane Elias) or a more Jazz/Neo-Soul (i.e. Ledisi). This House/Techno sound for the white kids won't cut it (for me).

Kelly I applaud you for taking a risk and go another direction. I think the song is on point and the vid....nice. I have heard a few more singles off the new joint and the R & B version of Commander. So far so good.

I'm so overly critical of Kelly only because I really want her to succeed... This video could have been a whole lot better to me but its decent I guess
