Coca-Cola introduces new screw-top bottles and "homo-erotic humor on TV in morally repressed Egypt," reports Copyranter. "Brave of the ad agency, Cairo's Fortune Promoseven, since the country has a de facto ban on homosexuality."
Worth noting: It's "common to see men walking together holding hands" in the Middle East, so the spot is definitely homoerotic by western and U.S.-standards, maybe not so much from an Egyptian POV. Watch it WHEN YOU JUMP ...

dat is jus too precious...i absolutely luv it...what da point was i dunno but dat was cute as two r three buttons. he "popped a cap off" in that man's hand...LOLOLOLOL! i luv it, i do!
Now, you tell me what the marketing strategy of that commercial was and i'll listen, but i don't care, not really. O, an afterthought...THE NEW SCREW TOP BOTTLE...DAT NICE TOO!

Actually, it’s a homophobic commercial. The guy on the right doesn’t want to screw with a phallus-shaped object himself, so he makes his friend do it instead.
