Democratic Maryland Lt. Governor Anthony Brown appeared on MSNBC and discussed his state's chances for marriage equality with Baltimore native Thomas Roberts. Roberts ended the interview by saying he'd like to take advantage of marriage equality in Maryland some day.
Said the Lt. Governor: "Maryland is poised to make history and become the 6th state to extend marriage equality. If the bill passes the governor will sign it. ... It's more than likely than not this bill will make it to the second floor."
Marriage equality in Maryland received a major boost last week when Brown, the state’s highest-elected Black official and possibly its most powerful, declared his support. "Regardless of gender, we should be able to choose who it is that we are going to marry and hopefully spend the rest of our lives with. I’m supportive of that."
Totally crushing on the telegenic Lt. Gov. Brown and his voice. And loved when Thomas said he'd like to marry in Maryland some day. Watch it AFTER THE JUMP ...

DAYUMN. Now that's a hot one!

Mr. Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown is very very handsome. Glad that he is becoming the governor's point man on this issue.

Yes that man is gorgeous.
I'm surprised no one picked up on what Thomas Roberts says at the end of the clip:
"I grew up in Baltimore. I was just home to visit my family. I've been giving wedding gifts for years to all my friends; it would be nice to think that I could finally get some."
Awesome.

@ Soulbrotha:
What do you mean "no one picked up on it"? Rod did and mentioned it twice.
I guess you didn't read the post.
