History is made in Chicago as Rahm Emanuel is sworn in as Chicago’s 46th mayor. The former White House Chief of Staff praised outgoing Mayor Richard M. Daley but said the city was "ready for change" to solve its mounting financial, infrastructure and education problems.

First Jewish Mayor of Chicago. It's a first and it's good.
And he will also be more Gay friendly than he was in the White House. He'll have to--he wants to get re-elected.
(Yes, I know--I'm a Democrat to the bone, honey. I'll always find something positive to say about any Democrat who's running. You could bring ol' George Wallace back from the grave and I'll...well, let's not get carried away).
