PHOTOS: Rod McCullom
Took a few photos during last night's partial eclipse.
Most of the images are manual exposure at 878mm. Love the crater detail above and in the last image.
Unfortunately there was no full moon because the photos would have been stunning.
Couldn't take many because the moon was so low on the horizon—that's the treeline you see on the lower images—and there was so much noise and fireworks.








Those are great photos! I hadn't known there was a partial eclipse, or I would have looked out for it.

very nice especially the craters and the trees. the first photo and those other moon shots you took look like a telescope.
