There are new leads in the murder of Durand Robinson, who was the co-owner of Atlanta's popular Black gay nightclub Traxx. Robinson was gunned down in a carjacking one year ago this week on August 25 2010. It was only one week before Black Gay Pride, which he helped organize.
Police say the suspect fled in Robinson’s SUV, crashed nearby ... and neglected to take the cash. Police also believe the suspect was someone that Robinson knew.
Detectives have a "new tip" that may help them collar the killer, reports FOX Atlanta.
In an unrelated incident ten days after the Robinson shooting: Two young men were killed execution-style after attending events at Atlanta's Black Gay Pride weekend. Those killers were also never apprehended.
