WOW!!!
How amazing is this!?!?!
First, a cover story on BLACK ENTERPRISE and then, almost quietly in July, JET magazine features a lesbian couple's wedding photo in their wedding section and now THIS!
When we stand up and show ourselves, we can't be ignored because you cannot ignore truth.
Bravo, Rod2.0 for this great feature! THANKFUL TO BE AN EBONY SUBSCRIBER!!!!

I detest Ebony...but I'll pick up a few copies(well...as much as my flimsy grad school budget will allow) to support you.
Congrats.

Ironic that mary is on the cover after her remarks regarding gay marriage in NY.

Thanks, Rod.
At first I wasn't open to reading Ebony.com's debate on Gay Marriage b/c our people can tend to be even more homophobic and religiously biased than the rest of the nation. But I would love to be proven wrong here, so I'm reading all I can and picking up a copy of Ebony-which I usually never buy. BTW, Mary J. looks awesomely fierce on the cover - loving her and how far she's come!

@CJ, what were her comments?
Posted by: HD | 29 September 2011 at 06:17
@ CJ: What "comments" did MJB make about marriage equality in NYS? MJB is a big supporter of LGBT rights, supported marriage equality in California and raised millions to fight Prop 8. -RM
