Police surveillance video from the night that Trayvon Martin was killed shows no blood or visible bruises on George Zimmerman, the self-appointed neighborhood watch captain who shot the unarmed 17-year-old on February 26 in suburban Orlando. Zimmerman has not been charged.

The Sanford Police Dept. surveillance video was obtained exclusively by ABC News. Zimmerman is seen arriving in a police cruiser, frisked by an officer and escorted into the station.
The video is inconsistent with Zimmerman’s statements to police. Zimmerman's family and lawyer have claimed that his nose had been broken in his scuffle with Martin—and that he only shot Martin "in self defense" after he was punched in the nose, knocked down and had his head slammed into the pavement.
Meanwhile: The special prosecutor in the Trayvon Martin case says she hopes to make a decision on charging Zimmerman "without a grand jury." Angela Corey was appointed the special prosecutor last week after numerous complaints that local authorities had botched the investigation. The Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation are also reviewing the case and investigating the Sanford PD.

Wow!! they are all in on the cover up of this murder, a da** shame!! That special prosecutor BETTER do the right thing, it seems that in FL they try to cover each other's backs to protect the GUILTY as we can see in this case! This is clearly NOT a case of self defense! There is an URGENT need for pink slips on the desks of all of the Sanford PD who are in on the cover up!!!!! Just imagine how many other crimes they covered up!

That video was taken within 35 minute of the shooting and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the police station. That's not enough time for a bloody nose to heal.
On top of that, the STATE ATTORNEY for the area was called down to the police station on a sunday night. That doesn't happen. Normal cases go to an ASA. In order for someone to have enough pull to call the STATE ATTORNEY down to the station, that call either came from the Chief of Police or from a judge(Zimmerman's father).
Coverup, coverup, coverup.

But remember, Zimmerman's father wqas judge in the state of Virginia and not Florida...
Doesn't change the fact that this is a cover-up bigtime by the powers that be in Sanford...starting with the prosecutor's office (apparently, the homicide detective originally assigned to the case was ready to charge Zimmerman with manslaughter).
I also wonder if Zimmerman is arrested and this goes to trial will he try to plead insanity or mental illness...46 calls to the Sanford PD over a 10 year periods and no arrests connected with the calls...that really does sound like the type of thing that crank callers/mentally ill people do.

Thank you so much for keeping us updated on this story Rod! It's just so disturbing the details that are coming out! Zimmerman and his people are pathological liars! They've obviously got some real pull down there; I hope justice wins out in the end though!

no blood on his shirt says to me that the struggle was a shouting match and he shot him from a distance. If you get hit in the nose, it bleeds. If you are in a struggle with someone to hear him say "you got me" then you shot him in close range, which means you'd get blood on you as well. On the face of it,,, there's something that stinks here...
