Your Friday required viewing: The new web series "Homo Thugs" created by director Bodega Cat Sanchez.
The super-short video series—each episode runs about 3:30—is described as "a real look inside the lives of two homophobic, in-the-closet gangsters." It's a delicious and subversive take on gangsta culture, using double entendre to highlight the homophobia and homo-thuggery of "no homo" gangsta sub-culture.
Check out the dream sequence in the second episode. One thug is enraged because he is having homoerotic dreams about romance cover model Fabio. Watch how the thugs demonstrate proper "shooting" technique AFTER THE JUMP ...

Mo' Homo. I love this term of endearment. The show is whacky!

The first episode was hilarious. It displayed many 'thuggy' stereotypes in a humourous way. Saggin'!
Jermaine Fowler (the shirtless one) has good solo standup comedy as well.
I'm looking forward to more.
