President Barack coined a new term for what he called Mitt "Multiple Choice" Romney's habit of frequently changing political positions: "Romnesia." The President unveiled the diagnosis today while speaking at George Mason University in Virginia.
The choice between going backward and moving forward has never been so clear. But now that we’re 18 days out from the election, Mr. "Severely Conservative"—(laughter)—wants you to think he was severely kidding about everything he said over the last year. (Laughter.) He told folks he was "the ideal candidate” for the Tea Party." Now suddenly he’s saying, "what, who, me?" (Laughter.) He’s forgetting what his own positions are, and he’s betting that you will, too.
I mean, he’s changing up so much and backtracking and sidestepping—(laughter)—we’ve got to name this condition that he’s going through. I think it’s called "Romnesia." ... Now I'm not a medical doctor. But I do want to go over some of the symptoms with you because I want to make sure nobody else catches it. (Laughter and applause.)
The phrase is now trending across social media, reports The Hill. "The word immediately took off on Twitter and jumped within the hour to a worldwide trend term. Team Obama, understandably excited at the quick popularity, jumped on the trend by promoting a tweet from Obama under the trending hashtag."
Watch it AFTER THE JUMP ...

Great catch term coming from the President. I hope it catches on.
I also hope that none of these young women start naming their new born baby girls Romnesia. Oh, please, Lord, don't let it happen.

I am getting very anxious about this election. Before the first debate I was so confident, but now I can't believe people are buying this crap Romney is selling. I hope Obama can pull off the win.
