Janet Jackson was a chair of the foundation’s inaugural amfAR Milano event in 2009 and the Cinema Against AIDS Cannes in 2011 and 2012. The entertainer also starred in a PSA for World AIDS Day 2012 that encouraged people to get tested and treated for HIV.
