Arena Homme's Stunning Tribute to the Buffalo Fashion Movement

Arena Homme +, the English men's fashion bible, has devoted its entire fall/winter issue to the late, iconic fashion stylist Ray Petri and the 1980s fashion movement he lead known as "Buffalo". Anyone who grew up in the Eighties and read magazines such as The Face or I/D are well familiar with the style that blended tribal fashion, costume, and haute couture with masculine "B-boy" wear. Designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, performer Malcolm McLaren and singer Neneh Cherry were among its adherents.

These photos from "Buffalo Collections Family" lensed by Jamie Morgan who created many memorable Buffalo editorials in the 1980s. Justyn Page-Allen is the stunner above and epitomizes the '80s Buffalo aesthetic.
